Irell & Manella Partner Jason Sheasby

A Los Angeles-based lawyer, Jason Sheasby has served the Irell & Manella law firm as a trial attorney since 1999. A partner at the firm, he has garnered several professional accolades throughout his legal career; he made the inaugural edition of The Lawdragon 500 Leading Global IP Lawyers list and received 2025 Litigator of the Year honors in California from the Managing IP Americas Awards. Jason Sheasby has enjoyed similar honors from the Los Angeles Business Journal, The Daily Journal, The American Lawyer, and several additional industry organizations.

Beyond his activities as a lawyer and partner with Irell & Manella, Jason Sheasby supports his alma mater, Pomona College, as a member of the board. He balances his law and board work with his responsibilities as the founder of TORL Biotherapeutics, a company pursuing novel antibody-based therapy advancements, with a focus on enhancing the lives of individuals and families living with cancer.

Jason Sheasby holds a philosophy degree from Pomona College, graduating summa cume laude. While at the college, he joined the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. He subsequently earned his juris doctor from Harvard Law School, graduating cum laude.
